DUCTS AND PIPES
FIBERGLASS PIPE

For conducting chemical, food, pharmaceutical and water products of all kinds.

Diameters: 1”, 2”, 3”, 4”, 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”, 14”, 16” 18”, 20”, 22”, 24”, 30”, 36”, 42 ”, 48”, 54” and 60”

Manufactured by filament winding system in 6 meters sections.

Connections: Elbows 45°, 90°, Tees, Yes, Concentric Reducer, Eccentric Reducer, Flanged Nipples and Blind Flanges.

Plain ends for butt joint with over rolled or flanged ends.

Butt joints with laminated top: EFISA® can carry out the service or supply the materials (resin and fiberglass) as well as training the client's personnel to carry out the assemblies.

Flanged joints: the assembly is done using screws and gaskets.

Butt joints are recommended for long length piping installations and combined with flanged joints where piping meets valves, pumps and other equipment.

Flange dimensions, except for flange face and bolting thicknesses, conform to ANSI B16.5 standards for 150 PSI. To join the pairs of flanges, we recommend placing an elastomer gasket at least 5 mm thick, with a hardness of between 60 and 80 Shore A; this gasket must be smooth and full face (FF).

Hex head bolts must be used, with double flat washer (on both sides of the FRP flange), optional lock washer and hex nut. The screw must be lubricated beforehand. The tightening of the nuts must be done by hand and smoothly; using a torque wrench taking care not to exceed 14 Nm (10 lb-ft).

Ducts and connections are manufactured in accordance with the International Standards ASME RTP-1-2015, ASTM D4221-93 and NBS PS 15-69.

The support of the EFISA® pipes can be done continuously on the ground, on a firm and smooth surface within a typical trench with a straight pit, sloped pit, sloped or mixed embankment.

Or by means of a frame (rack) of continuous support, whose surface must be firm and smooth.

It can also be supported by any of the following attachments: roller, clamp, fork, half round or bracket.

The maximum distance between supports depends on the diameter and thickness of the tube, as well as the density and temperature of the fluid. The compensation of the expansion of the pipes due to the effect of temperature must be carried out by means of flexible joints.

EFISA® does not offer pipes of more than 62" (1.6 m) in diameter for water conduction or drainage where rigidity greater than 2,500 N/m² is required, since these are manufactured by a continuous winding system and integrated into the body of the silica sand tubing to increase thickness and stiffness without increasing the price.
