DUCTS AND PIPES
FIBERGLASS DUCTS

For conduction of corrosive gases and vapors.

Diameters: 4”, 6”, 8”,10”, 12”, 14”, 16” 18”, 20”, 22”, 24”, 30”, 36”, 42”, 48”, 54”, 60 ”, 72” and 84”

Operating pressure from 25 to 150 PSI

Circular shaped ducts are more economical and reliable than rectangular shaped ones.

Connections: 45° Elbows, 90° Elbows, Any Angle Elbows, Tees, Yes, Concentric Reducers, Eccentric Reducers, Flanged Nipples and Blind Flanges.

Plain ends for butt joint with over rolled or flanged ends.

Butt joints with overlaminate: EFISA® can perform this service or supply the materials (resin, catalyst and fiberglass) and the necessary training for the client's personnel to carry out the assemblies.

Flanged joints: the assembly is done using screws and gaskets.

Butt joints are recommended for long length duct installations and combined with flanged joints where ductwork joins valves, fans, etc.

Flange dimensions, except for flange face and bolting thicknesses, conform to ANSI B16.5 standards for 150 PSI. To join the pairs of flanges, we recommend placing an elastomer gasket at least 5 mm thick, with a hardness of between 60 and 80 Shore A; this gasket must be smooth and full face (FF).

Hex head bolts must be used, with double flat washer (on both sides of the FRP flange), optional lock washer and hex nut. The screw must be lubricated beforehand. The tightening of the nuts must be done by hand and smoothly; using a torque wrench taking care not to exceed 14 Nm (10 lb-ft).

Ducts and connections are manufactured in accordance with the International Standards ASME RTP-1-2015 and NBS PS 15-69.
